About the Counseling Center

What is our Mission?

Our mission is to bear witness to God's redemptive activity in the world by creating hope-filled healing relationships that help people discover wholeness. We do this by using a balanced approach that incorporates the spiritual, psychological and physical dimensions of our lives.

Our Perspective is Unique

The Community Christian Counseling Center believes that healthy living involves balancing several dimensions of life: mind, body, spirit and community. Center counselors incorporate the spiritual dimension and matters of faith along with the psychological dimension and the behavioral sciences to promote healing and health. Your own beliefs will be respected and may be drawn on as a part of the healing process. The Center is committed to working with people of all faiths as well as those who claim none.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will incur a full session fee. Please note that insurance typically does not cover missed sessions, so this will be your responsibility.

Our Staff

The clinical staff is a team of highly trained, experienced professional counselors. Some are Pastors offering Pastoral counseling and some are certified Christian Counselors.  Most staff hold a Master's degrees, and are licensed by the state of Florida, and are certified by one or more of the following boards:
The American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists
The National Association of Social Workers
The National Board of Clinical Counselors
